For many years, I slowed myself down trying to help others and their dreams. I go hard for people when I care for them, but too many times I unintentionally held myself back from my potential and a faster pace of growth because I was trying to push and carry others to hustle and grind with me. Though many people say they do, most don't have the tenacity or dedication to put in the hard work and necessary sacrifices to reach their aspirations. Repeatedly, lack of follow-through from those I've tried to help has been a noticeable hindrance to my path. Earlier this year, I said, "No more!" and decided I needed to focus on myself. I chose to go all in on my goals and dreams, full force, and anyone not willing to commit or be disciplined enough to keep up was getting left behind. Since making the decision to prioritize myself and my goals, I've gone much further than I've ever been before. I'm still very giving and I love to help people, but now I'm more restrictive and selective to make sure I'm not sacrificing myself. I'm still on my journey to achieve the success I've envisioned, but I'm on my way and I'm not slowing down.
